Did you miss me over the (checks calendar) past four days? Apparently, I either post infrequently or all the time these days. I like to say I move at the speed of business, which is like playing chess on a roller coaster these days.
I wanted to drop this quick note because the markets came roaring back today: the S&P 500 gained over 9% and the Nasdaq went scorched Earth and returned 11.9% today! The Dow and even the battered Russell 2000 followed suit. After a rough two-week stretch, it was the kind of rally that reminds us how quickly sentiment can shift.
But let’s stay grounded. Volatility isn’t over and short-term bounces - up or down - don’t change our long-term plan.
